About the Program
The ‘Mastering ADHD’ program is an 8 week small group therapy involving a range of different activities, such as presentation of psychoeducational content by the group facilitator, group discussion, which involves participants sharing their ideas, experiences, thoughts, or emotions, and small break-out rooms, in which individuals may work on practicing a skill or strategy together, or brainstorming how they might implement it in their day-to-day life. The focus of the program is on enhancing executive functioning. You can expect your group facilitator to guide group discussions, provide feedback on challenges you may encounter, and foster a climate of respect within the group. The group typically comprises 8-12 individuals. It runs on weekday evenings.
